THE DOLLAR REACHES THIS LEVEL IN EGYPT AFTER SISI'S MESSAGES REGARDING THE IMF
The US dollar and other foreign currencies slightly increased against the Egyptian pound on Monday.
This rise followed important statements by Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi about the country's IMF program.
El-Sisi highlighted that the IMF program is happening during tough global economic challenges.
He emphasized that many countries' economies are being negatively affected by these global conditions.
El-Sisi suggested that international institutions, like the IMF, should consider these factors.
On Sunday, he mentioned possibly reviewing Egypt’s deal with the IMF if the economic reforms become too difficult for people to handle.
