Oil settles up over 1% on large draw from U.S. crude stocks
Oil prices went up by more than 1% on Friday.
The increase was due to a bigger-than-expected drop in U.S. crude stocks.
Brent crude rose by 91 cents to $74.17 per barrel.
U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude rose by 98 cents to $70.60 per barrel.
The price rise happened in low trading volume as the year-end approached.
