INFLATION IN SPAIN ACCELERATES TO 2.8% IN DECEMBER
Spain’s inflation rate accelerated to 2.8% in December, up from 2.4% in November.
The December inflation exceeded market expectations, which predicted a 2.6% increase.
The data was released by Spain's National Institute of Statistics.
The 2.8% rise in the consumer price index is based on an annual comparison.
