DOW TUMBLES 900 POINTS AS FED RATE OUTLOOK DISAPPOINTS, HEADS FOR FIRST 10-DAY LOSING STREAK SINCE '74
The Dow Jones dropped 960 points (2.2%) on Wednesday, heading for its longest losing streak since 1974.
This would be the 10th straight day of losses for the Dow.
The S&P 500 fell 2%, and the Nasdaq Composite dropped nearly 4%.
The decline came after a disappointing Federal Reserve interest rate outlook.
On Tuesday, the Dow already had a nine-day losing streak, its longest since 1978.
